Pharmacological Effects • Antibiotic: decoction has inhibitory effect against Bacillus anthracis, α-hemolytic streptococcus, β-hemolytic streptococcus, Diplococcus pneumoniae, S. aureus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, and Bacillus subtilis
• Antineoplastic: alcohol extract demonstrated inhibitory effect against sarcoma in mice
