Pharmacological Effects • Hematological: alcohol, ether and acetone extracts all shorten coagulation time, with acetone extract being strongest
• Antiparasitic: essential oil has strong effect to kill tapeworms and earthworms
• Antineoplastic: inhibitory effect in vitro on liver and stomach cancer cells
