Contraindications (TCM) Do not use large dosage in patients with Qi deficiency, Stomach cold, or diarrhea

Chemical Composition Essential oils 0.2-0.85% (borneol, bornyl acetate, chrysanthenone,
camphor), flavone (luteolin, apigenin, acacetin),
chrysanthemin A, B; chlorochrymorin, chrysandiol
Pharmacological Effects • Vasodilative: shown to dilate blood vessels; increases blood perfusion to coronary arteries, lowers blood pressure, decreases body temperature
• Antibiotic: inhibits S. aureus, 13-hemolytic streptococcus, and Shigella sonnei;.inhibits leptospira at high doses
