Pharmacological Effects • Antineoplastic: alcohol extract associated with mild antineoplastic action according to some in vitro studies
• Effects on muscles: essential oil associated with inhibitory effect on skeletal muscle, stimulating effect on smooth muscle of uterus, and varied effects on smooth muscle of the intestines
• Sedative, analgesic and antipyretic properties have been observed, in relatively mild degrees
