Formula Type	Formulas that Regulate the Blood
Diagnosis	Rentention of blood stasis that obstructs the vessels that serve the lower abdomen
Action	Invigorates the blood, dispels blood stasis, dispersesaccumulation, and alleviatespain
Indication	Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, retention of the lochia, postpartum abdominal pain, acute, colicky pain in the lower abdomen, severe pain in the middle abdomen, or epigastric pain
Remarks	Focuses on dispelling blood stasis and alleviating pain. Also modified to treat angina pectoris.
