Diagnosis Kidney Yang deficiency with waning of the fire at the gate of vitality
Action Warms and tonifies Kidney Yang, replenishes essence, tonifies blood
Indication Exhaustion from long-term illness, aversion to cold, cold extremities, impotence, spermatorrhea, aching and weakness of lower back and knees, possibly infertility, loose stools, incontinence, or edema
Remarks Focuses on tonification and therefore not for patients with dampness or turbidity
