Diagnosis Abdominal pain due to Liver-Spleen disharmony with blood stasis and qi stagnation due to dampness
Action Nourishes Liver Blood, spreads Liver Qi, Strengthens Spleen, resolves Dampness
Indication Continuous, cramping abdominal pain that is not severe, urinary difficulty, slight edema (primarily in lower limbs); this pain can occur during pregnancy or with several gynecological disorders
Remarks This formula is used for gynecological disorders due to deficiency involving blood stasis and water retention, including treatment of infertility, malposition of fetus, edema, pain or bleeding during pregnancy, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation
